No "What's yer poison tonight?"

First of all, I got an e-mail from Fodors about my name change (I only did it because I could not log in) I requested a return to my earlier name, hopefully it will go through. Funny to have an e-mail asking me about the issue...

Unless the glass and a half of "Bogle" chardonnay has boggled my eyesight... did I miss it?

Still planning a Hawaii trip. We are now considering veering north from Poipu to something closer to Lihue which necessitates a a whole new round of research into that east coast region of Kauai. Hmm... a lot to think about. Time to use the SEARCH function...

Listening to Nancy Lamott as I peruse...what could be better?

Hi Eeva (Eva)...Statia is up here in NYC this week & Indy's usually our backup. Guess he is drinking his usual Martini elsewhere tonight! I just got home a little while ago. Kinda tired tonight, so sticking with water!

Hawaii sounds fab! I'm jealous! Trish

David left for France last Thursday and I'm not sure if he is back yet.

Well, guys, I drank my DH's frozen Margaritas, and watched *Cold Mountain* again with him and a friend........ Love the movie, hate the ending! :-(

oy, no poison tonight! Went to Chai's on Wednesday and had too much au bon climant. then last night was St. Paddy's at Aloha Tower Marketplace. thank goodness my staff, not me, ended up with the hangover!

I had a lovely glass of Brancott Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand while attempting to read a book about the French Revolution so I can intelligently discuss it with my oldest dd - she's writing a review of the book for a college class and says the author is contradicting himself. :-)

I love the poison thread but unfortunately I am sick, was in bed by 8P last night and the only "poison" I had to "enjoy" was a squirt of zicam in the nose! I am so bummed--my brother and his family arrive from Maryland tomorrow :-(

Hi Bonniebroad, I haven't seen Cold Mountain yet but have been listening to the cd--very haunting, beautiful music which has me curious :-)

Mine was pellagrino with leftovers while watching "Garden State". It was raining outside, we had a fire going and curled up with the cats.

We're going away to the middle of nowhere Tennessee next week so I decided to treat myself and buy the tools & ingredients for my favorite drink - Cosmopolitan. Got the martini shaker, glasses, absolute vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and cranberry juice. I had planned on buying couintreau instead of triple sec but boy, it's expensive! I have yet to try my concoction - saving it for the nights without cable tv on the lake!!
