No tickets to FL in 2005

I am trying to get tickets to FL March,24 to April,3 2005 and there is NO TICKETS available.
Am I going nuts?

It is possible that the airlines have not yet posted schedules that far in advance. Check again around May 10-15.

BeachBoi Apr 16th, 2004 12:10 PM

Ziana....You can book your March travel date on Apr 27 and your April date on May 7,assuming one way fares are available from your origin to your destination.however,I suggest you wait till May 7 so you can book your roundtrip ticket. The airline computers, well thats just the way they are programmed.I hope this helps..

Easter is March 27th in 05. Which will mean "SPRING BREAK" for colleges.

Could be why it's booked. Someone must have a tickets available.

SEW: Good guess, but that's not what's going on here. Airlines generally only allow reservations some 330 days in advance of the travel date(s), so they just haven't been released yet. BeachBoi backed out the first dates that the OP will be able to make her reservations.

Actually Florida is closed at that time. :)

Just kidding.

FYI: most colleges are not on Spring Break during Easter here in Florida - generally earlier in the month but it is high time for elementary school/high school spring break as we are experiencing this week.

O, relieve, thanks to all.
I will wait 'till May.

It's been 3 days already, and noone, I repeat: NOONE asnwered her initial question: "Am I going nuts?"

Who's the bravest one here? (If you read her posts on European forum you know what I mean) :-L

SoBeTraveller Apr 19th, 2004 11:23 AM

Easy answer - the 330 or 331-day rule. Check back in a month. And six months after that to reserve a seat.
