I'm dead serious about this: Check with the local Police Department. They would certainly know which ones, if any, would be safe to attend.

Fresno and surrounding areas have serious gang problems.

its ok Lake...didnt bother me because its true lol...however, Fresno is a big city and theres a whole area (clovis) full of rich people and its very nice...but I appreciate it...
