Nicest hotels in Phoenix
I'm looking for high end properties in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area for a conference. The hotels I am aware of are:
Phoenician Westin Kierland Four Seasons Ritz Biltmoree The Sanctuary 1. Are there others in this class? 2. Any feedback on any I've listed or similar properties? |
Skip the Ritz there. It is not real nice like most other Ritz. OK place to stay for buiness but not a conference - there are much better conf. places.
HAve been to Phoenician and it is WONDERFUL, very upscale, white glove service, but relaxed and just gorgeous. Great golf and dining and spa. But is it the best place for a conference? I don't think so, unless you have a very very big budget.. Wetin K. = big family place. Biltmore or Sanctuary- either would be more a conf. style place. My husband has been to Biltmore for business mtg. and loved it. I am not as familiar w/Sanctuary other than reading about it. There is another one my husband went to an it was his favorite for business- I'll ask which one. I don't know the 4 Seasons there. |
It was actually the Biltmore that my husband liked so much for the business meeting.

The Biltmore is my favorite hotel the southwest.
Ditto on the RC. Not as nice as most. |
I love the FS in scottsdale. One of my favorite resorts in the country for a relaxing atmosphere.
|
My vote is for Camelback Inn!

Hi mdtravel,
I have stayed at the Westin, and the JW Marriott resorts and liked both. The Westin was fun because it is right across from a fun outdoor shopping area called Kierland, that is how the name for the hotel comes into play. Enjoy! Tiff |
Thank you everybody! I am going to check out the following four properties:
Phoenician Sanctuary Four Seasons Royal Palms They all seem like the type of place I'd like to hold my small group meeting. |
Oh, you said conference originally, so I thought it was much bigger than a small group. The Phoenician is great for a small group.

50 or so attendees.
