Nicest family friendly loding in Boston

My husband and I have a 9 month old baby and would like to take a trip to Boston for the weekend. We need a place with a kitchenette and with a bedroom that is separate from the living area. Are there any nice hotels in Boston that fit this description that are also centrally located? We'll need to be going back and forth to the hotel a couple of times a day for naptime, so we need a hotel from which getting to the sights is quick and easy.

Thanks!!

The two that come to mind are the Eliot and the Copley Marriott.

I don't think the Eliot or the Copley Marriott has kitchenettes in their rooms.

The Residence Inn chain is your best bet. They have 2 locations in Boston:
One in Cambridge just outside Kendall Sq;
One at Tudor Wharf in Charlestown, just across the bridge from North End

Neither one is "centrally located", meaning that they aren't right in the heart of Boston. However, they aren't incovenient. You'd need to use the subway for the one in Cambridge. No subway is nearby the Tudor Wharf location, but it's a nice walk across the bridge to North End if it's a nice day. Both are a short taxi ride from downtown Boston where all the sights are located.

You could also try the Marriott Custom House. They have one-bedroom suites. It is convenient to the Waterfront, Quincy Market, and the North End.

Custom House is a good suggestion. Please note that it is a Marriott Timeshare property, so rooms may not be easily available. However, if it is available, I'd pick Custom House's location over either Residence Inn.

Right across the street from the Marriott Custom House, is the Harborside Inn. I was there not long ago and loved it for location, convenience and rates. I think they have well priced suites so you might call and find out.

The hotel is right across the street from Fanuiel Hall and Copley Market, so TONS of restaurants at your doorstop. The Aquarium stop on the T is INFRONT of the hotel, so it's easy to get around town from there.

It also a short walk to the North End in one direction and Boston Common (park) in the other.

Yes, I should have clarified that I doubt either have full kitchenettes, that's not really something you find in Boston. But they do both have suites and I the Marriott does have rooms with mini-fridges and microwaves.

The 2 Residence Inns I mentioned above offer suites; and all rooms come with

Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stovetop and coffee maker.

The Marriott Custom House timeshare offers 1BR apts, which have kitchenettes with microwaves & tableware.
