Nice whirlpool rooms on Vegas strip?
 

I am planning my first trip to Vegas and want to stay in a whirlpool room. I don't care about the size of the room overall. I was considering Luxor but saw several negative comments about the wear and tear on the rooms. Any suggestions on where to stay on the strip for a clean, quality whirlpool room?

I'm assuming you mean a bathtub that serves as a whirlpool. If so, Ceasars has very nice rooms. However, though you can watch TV / movies from the bath, you cannot view the strip.

Not as nice as Caesars, but less expensive would be the Imperial Palace. They have a couple of configurations. I stayed in a suite. It had a living room w/ big screen tv and wet bar. The whirlpool tub was in the bedroom. The big round tub was on a low platform with pillars, and maybe a canopy.

Some of the towers at Caesars have jacuzzi tubs. The Augustus and Palace Towers have them - they are in the bathroom (which is huge) so if you were looking for something next to the window overlooking the strip, these wouldnt do it. The Forum Tower used to have jacuzzi tubs but it is my understanding that they took them out as part of the recent renovation of that Tower. I am not sure about the two other towers at Caesars - the Centurian and Roman. Just mention this because if you do book a room there, you should be specific as to which Tower you want.

Based on things that have probably gone on in said tubs you may want to re-think it...Anyway, who has time to take a bath in Vegas, or even sleep for that matter ??

That's funny and true SAn. I've used them in the past but have always taken the washcloth and body wash and washed them out good before i got in. However, after hearing how they are breeding grounds for bacteria, I haven't used one in a hotel in quite a while.

I would disagree though, about your comment that who has time for one in Vegas. It is a great, relaxing retreat from the lights, noise and smoke of the casino, especially if you are on a losing streak!

I wouldn't count out Luxor. I stayed there a few weeks ago in the Pyramid and it was fine. I think the Tower rooms are newer, no? And that's where the hot tub rooms are.

There was a lot of construction going on in the casino which was a bit of an annoyance but I don't know of any other strip hotel that has the hot tub setup like Luxor.

I stayed in a Celebrity spa suite in the MGM last spring, and the jacuzzi tub was heavenly.
I never used the shower once.. it was great to rehab my feet after walking all day. Good luck.((F))
