nice hotels in southern utah

Hello,

I am planning a trip to Southern Utah for 3 days in October. We would like to stay somewhere a bit nicer...more along the lines of a boutique hotel. Any recommendations?

Where in Southern Utah are you planning on going? What kind of activities are you looking for? I can't think of any upscale hotels in Southern Utah. How about something like Red Mountain Resort & Spa http://www.redmountainspa.com/index.php in St. George?

Cali Cochitta B&B in Moab is lovely. I highly recommend it. October is busy time here in SW, I would reserve sooner rather than later. http://www.moabdreaminn.com/

Red Cliffs Lodge is supposed to be nice, I haven't stayed there though. http://www.redcliffslodge.com/

Yes WHERE in southern UT? We're talking lots of territory here. Have you thought of B&Bs? There are some very nice ones to choose from.

Desert Pearl in Springdale, right near Zion is quite nice.

bluegigi,

In just 3 days you are going to stay in both Zion and Moab? You do know that it will take you nearly an entire day to drive between the two? Can you add days to your trip?

Highway 12 between Bryce NP and Torrey, UT, is one of the most beautiful drives in the country, and the drive on Highway 24 from Torrey to Hanksville is spectacular in its way too.
