Nice Hotel in Boston (Quincy Market-Financial)
 

Anyone have any recommendations for a nice hotel (3-4 stars) in the Quincy Market-Financial-Waterfront area of Boston? Looking at Mid-March 09 trip.

Based on reading trip reports here, I think folks have been pleased with the Marriott Long Wharf as well as the Marriott Custom House.

The Intercontinental is brand new.

Boston Harbor HOtel should be nice as well.

There's also the Westin Waterfront.

The Intercontinental is very nice - love their rooms and large bathrooms. Views are so so.

Westin Waterfront is out of the way - not conveniently located in comparison to other choices.

We've stayed at the Bostonian about 10 years ago and its charming but that's too long ago to use as a basis for your decision.

Marriott is well located but I've always been underwhelmed by its rooms and public spaces.

We stayed at the Intercontinental. It was nice.

I almost always use Hotwire or Priceline for Boston, especially in the off season.
