NJ is bigger than it looks - several hours tip to tip. Is there some place in particular you need to be near (like NYC). That would help with answer. Yes, having grown up there, there are many nice and safe places - some more geography info would be helpful.

Sorry Gail, I am referring in the Central and Northern part of NJ. I hope you could provide me the places. Thanks.

Do you mean a nice & safe hotel for a visit to NJ, or do you mean a nice & safe place to live? If you mean to live, please tell us where you will be working, as it makes a very big difference.

Actually, I rephrase it so what I mean is a nice and safe place to live since I'll be working either in Summit or Morristown areas so info re the said places and its nearby areas are very much welcome. Well, I'm married and have 2 kids. Thus, i consider the safety of the place and parks, school, etc.
