NFL tickets

Hi guys,

What's the chances of purchasing Giants tickets when I'm visiting New York in October?

Purchasing where?

From the team directly? None. You're not going to walk up to the stadium without tickets and get in.

From StubHub or a scalper - sure, just be ready to spend.

All Giants seats are season tickets. That means you will have to go to the secondary market (Stubhub or NFL Ticket Exchange). You are going to be looking at maybe $150, minimum per ticket.

We sell our tickets through the NFL Ticket Exchange...better than Stub Hub.

There's a 100% chance you can get tickets... it only depends on your willingness to pay...

Hi there, I'm willing to pay the $130 for the tickets that most of these ticket websites are looking for it's just the charges they add on once you have commuted to the purchase. Does anyone know the best site to purchase from??

NFL Ticket Exchange is the official NFL site and is run by Ticketmaster... when you select a price, that's the total, and the seller pays the service fee...

Most tickets are e-mailed immediately and can be printed by the buyer...

I have been using this service for years, and the tickets are verified as genuine by Ticketmaster and the NFL...

HAVE FUN...

mayfieldman, As I mentioned in my post...the NFL exchange is THE place to buy tickets.
The game usually is a little over 3 hours.

Enjoy the game. Agree with others that the ticket exchange is the way to go.

The game is about 3 to 3.25 hours without OT.

Getting to and from the stadium will add at least another 1 to 1.5 on each side.

I have never found any tickets on the official Ticket Exchange for NE Patriots games. Zero.

If this is the case for NY Giants tickets, you can go to a traditional ticket broker or a site like StubHub. The problem is that with StubHub, while there is a guarantee, you run the risk of buying bogus tickets. Since many tickets are now sold with a "print at home" option, a seller could theoretically print as many as they want - and it is the first into stadium that is considered valid.

Every year there are one or 2 stories, most often for very prominent games and playoffs, where a seller has actually done this. I would not be unduly concerned, just aware.

First, on StubHub you cannot sell the same ticket twice.

Second, when sales fall through StubHub not only refunds the money that the buyer pays, it also charges the seller 40% or more of the transaction value for the foulup (depending upon the type of foulup). StubHub requires all sellers to have a valid credit card on file. Why? Precisely so that if the seller tries to screw a buyer, StubHub will nail the seller with fees. Similar policies are in place at Vivid Seats and Razor Gator. These reseller listings are not Craigslist - their existence requires that buyers trust what they're buying; the listings must be dependable.

Third, Stubhub sales of print at home tickets are NOT for the actual printed ticket - Stubhub requires the seller to send the pdf ticket to the buyer not a paper printout.

The risk of bogus tickets is low precisely because the seller will get hammered by StubHub for selling dross. Buy with confidence.
