Can anyone describe the indoor pool at the Le Parker Meridien? Is it big enough for three teens to splash around and have fun? Is there an indoor hot tub?

The pool is quite large and beautiful and very serene. 3 teens will make a lot or noise and disturb all the other guests. Be prepared for a lot of angry looks.

Call the hotel directly and ask the pool size. Also keep in mind that, occasionally a hotel pool will be off limits (either all the time or during certain hours) to anyone under 16 or 18. This happened to me this weekend and my sister last weekend, so if it's important, ASK!

Very small.Dont remember a hot tub.Best bet is the Y on the West Side.Unless the teens are shy.

Is teh pool "very large" or "quite small?"

I'm traveling soon to New York with a teen and a preteen and looked into staying at the Parker Meridien. My guidebook says the pool at the Parker Meridien is open to kids at all hours, unlike many city hotel pools. However, I'm a bit skeptical that the pool could truly be that kid friendly since I assume it will attract many adult swimmers who are members of the health club.

To be honest, with so many things to do, I would be surprised if your teen will have the energy or want to take time away from Manhattan to swim in a pool.
