Newark Airport to Hoboken
Arriving EWR Thurs noon and staying in Hoboken (11th and Willow area). Other than cab, what is the easiest way to get to Hoboken from airport?
Also, would it be closer and cheaper to take ferry into Manhattan or walk to PATH station and take train?

It's possible to get to Hoboken via the PATH, but it's definitely not easier or cheaper than a cab. Unfortunately, this isn't a route I know very well, so someone else will have to give you better advice.
Ferries are definitely more pleasant than the PATH, but they are pretty expensive. Check the prices, but I'm pretty sure it's at least double if not triple the cost of the PATH. Then once you get into Manhattan you're on the far west side and have to take a bus or walk a long distance to get anything (another fare if the free shuttle bus from the ferry doesn't go where you want to go). Therefore, I'd do the PATH. But I don't know how close the PATH is to your hotel (NJ Transit trains might also be a choice ... more expensive than the PATH but probably cheaper on the weekend and off-peak than the ferry).

You could take the Airtrain to the Newark Airport train station and go one stop to Newark Penn Station. From there you can get the PATH train, but for Hoboken you'd have to change at Exchange Place.
Alternately, there's a local city bus at the Newark Airport that goes to Newark Penn Station.
Here's a map of the PATH trains:

When I input your itinerary into the NJ Transit trip planner, it suggestd a bus from the airport into Manhattan (Port Authority Bus Terminal) and then a bus (126) from there to Hoboken.
I'd probably opt for the cab.
