New York Food Tours

Can anyone recommend a company that takes Food Tours in different parts of New York?
Thanks

I know this tour leader personally and will vouch for her although I have not taken her tours; she is a lovely person and very enthusiastic. She gets excellent reviews online.

DD and I did a tour two years ago by the company starrs mentions in her post and we loved it. We did their "original" Greenwich Village Tour, but I would love to return and try their others--it was a great time.

We also did the tour musician mentions and really enjoyed it. We were hoping to book one of their other tours on our last trip but they were already sold out.

Hello! I'm a local New Yorker and honestly - YOU DON'T NEED A FOOD TOUR! Spend the $$$ on actual food and research what you want - pizza tour? Chinatown tour? Beer halls? Honestly I can make you a customized itinerary that you can do without a tour guide. You will have more fun enjoying your food and the place. Shoot me an e-mail and I will be happy to put a list together. Its also more fun to spend the $$ on a cooking class - there are so many offered by the best cooking schools.
