Cafe Boulud is right near the Met and has wonderful food. If they don't have veggie options on the menu, I'm sure they would prepare something is forewarned. Park Ave Spring is lovely but not as close. Another that might work is Paola's on 92 st. Clubby atmosphere with lots of wood. If this falls on a fRi. Or Sat., your other option is to buy a membership to the Met and eat in their members dining room which has.a lovely view and very good food.

You guys are SO great! Thank you! mclaurie thank you for the Cafe Boulud idea - yah I read about candle79 - totally wanna try that place. Park Ave Spring? I'm gonna check it out, Centraparkgirl. : ) Ok that's two votes for Sfoglia and Spigolo both - I'm in! Thanks Emily Post - Beyoglu - Turkish(yum!!!). ekscrunchy - Dovetail is for sure now for one of our nights. Thanks, everyone! Can't wait to try all your places : )
