New York City - Inexpensive Hotels
 

I want to stay in somewhere between Madison and 7th street, but I'm looking for a inexpensive hotel(Under U$ 100,00). This hotels: Iroquois, Portland, Radio City and Remington are good? Any suggestions? Cíntia

It will be difficult to find a NYC hotel in that price range. You might find something through one of the no fee hotel discounters e.g. Express Reservations(1 or email [email protected]) Tell them the type, location, and price range you desire and they will do the rest. I just back and had a chance to look at all the hotels I did no choose. I never came close to "under $100" even with my "Fortune 3" business discounts. I finally settled on "The Wellington" at 55th and 7th and was extremely happy with the choice. Great Location, clean rooms, nice staff. I paid $165 double/$175 with call-in reservations.

I never knew about the discount numbers. But remember, It is theatre season and rooms sell out fast at high rate.
