new york city hotel

Can anyone suggest a New York City hotel in the Wall Street area for around $250 or less per night. I need 4 rooms for a conference we are attending at 140 Broadway Street. We will check in on Oct 2 and depart on Oct 7. We just need something clean and convenient to the Broadway St location. The prices I am seeing are very high. Please help!

October is one of the most expensive months in NYC. I checked the Club Quarters but they don't have availability. I entered that address and those dates in kayak.com and didn't see anything for less than $250. You may consider calling the hotels directly (not the 800#) to see if they have availability for 4 rooms. Otherwise, your best bet may be to choose a hotel further away but convenient to the subway. Good luck.

On Hotwire, a 3* is coming up at $204 (without taxes added). Based on the info at betterbidding.com, it's probably either the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca or the Holiday Inn Soho.

Either would be a good hotel if the distance is okay. 4 rooms are available.

THE RESERVATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. I used Hotwire all the time and love it. If I were booking 4 rooms for business, I'd be more comfortable calling the hotels directly to see if they could work something out for my group.

First - there is no such place as Broadway Street. It;s just Broadway.

Octo is the beginning of hte high season in NYC and $250 is quite a modest amount - even for a room for 1 person.

I would search all of the discount sites (kayak.com, trvelzoo, etc) and see what hotels have deals. Then call the hotel directly and say you are looking for 4 rooms for 5 nights and they may be willing to work with you. Remember that the price they quote will have taxes (abou 15%) on top of the price.

We liked this Embassy Suites. Rooms are suite-style with a wet bar. And, it includes a full, hot breakast buffet:
