New York City- Henri Matisse Cutouts at MOMA

Hello, how long does it take to enjoy this exhibition? Trying to plan my day!

Depends on how much you love Matisse's cutouts. When I view the ones in DC, I stay a couple of hours! When I was last in NYC they weren't there yet. Lucky you if you get to go!!

I saw the same exhibition in London and I spent 1.5 hours and could have stayed a lot longer. But it was so crowded (even w/ the timed admissions) I had to eventually give up.

Probably 2 hours would have been good.

It is an overwhelming/fabulous show.

I agree about the 2-hour time period. And, yes, it is a wonderful exhibit.

Thanks everyone. For the final weekend Feb 6--8 they have times tickets all day and all night! Never heard of a museum doing that!

They do that with popular exhibits to avoid overcrowding. Trust me, you'll be happy about the time tickets requirement when you go.

Was at MOMA today. Just went to their store to return something, but the museum lobby itself looked like a zoo.
