New Year's In Hawaii

I'll be leaving for Hawaii on Dec. 25 for 2 weeks. Can't decide which island to sepend
New Year's on - has anyone experienced
this? We will be travelling to The Big Island, Maui & Oahu. We have heard that some of the islands have fireworks and beach parties - we're looking for "action".

If "action" is what your looking for
then the best island for that on New Years Eve is Oahu-Waikiki . Waikiki has
all kinds of bars and clubs that will
be having special entertainment and
activities.

JDP
Adam: thanks so much for the info. We have decided to spend new year's in Waikiki - I have read that there's suppose to be a big street party with fireworks - don't know if this is true.
