New Year's Eve Joshua Tree Area
 

Short notice, but any thoughts on where to have dinner or hear music near Joshua Tree this NYE? Staying in the town of Joshua Tree. Don't really want anything fancy and Palm Springs may be too far a drive at night so would like to be on the north side of the park, I think. Thanks!

Here's a link to a site that lists all the places I would have recommended. The best food in the area these days is probably La Copine but they will be closed during that time and they have very interesting hours in general-they are only open 2PM-7PM.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive I think Pappy & Harriet's would be fun. But if you want to stay in Joshua Tree, I would just check out the reviews on Yelp and decide from there.

Thanks, great resource! Unfortunately, I had already found Pappy & Harriet's and they're sold out for NYE but sounds like a fun place to try another night. Looks like we're in for some snow while there; should be interesting!
