New show in Oahu called "Yes". Has anyone seen it?

I just ran across a small description on a website for this new show. It seems as if it combines gymnastics, comedy, juggling, acrobatics and others. This was listed under Activity World promotions. It didn't give the location, but there is a cocktail show for $32.00 and a dinner buffet show for $49.50. If anyone knows the details of this, would you please pass them on?

Get lost Heidi! Stop posting your phony questions here so you can answer them. Ever notice that you and your staff are the only ones posting about Hawaii all the time?

Uh, takeahike is there a reason you feel that I am an imposter? Geez, I don't know what transpired in the week or so that I didn't visit this site, but there seems to be a lot of tension and wild accusations flying around. FYI, I am not Heidi or any other travel agent. I am the average person trying to get info before we go on our vacation. Just because I name a specific company you ASSUME my intentions are false? Relax, buddy, the reason I named them is because I thought maybe someone who has delt with them and has seen the show could give me info so I know whether or not to plan this into our vacation. As a person who's never been to Hawaii before, I'm researching many websites to gather information. As my original post said, this is a new show and is not described in any current literature I have. What part of a genuine post such as mine got you so riled up? Lots of people on this forum give names and prices. THAT'S WHAT US TRAVELERS ARE LOOKING FOR. Perhaps there has been some unscrupulous people frequenting this board, but you have no right to bash me just because I posted an honest question.

What the hell is wrong with you takeahike ([email protected])??? You're a paranoid freak that won't let anyone ask a travel question! Get off of everyone's back and stop acting like a jerk! Not everyone here is a travel agent!

Takeahike,
First, spam last week has prevented me from using my real address for the first time ever.

Now, Takeahike, how are we supposed to get info on HI hotels, etc. Are YOU the expert that's going to answer our questions? You've accomplished you purpose, but my advice - get some help and get a life.

For months I've loved helping people plan their trips to Hawaii, and I am in no way, shape or form any kind of travel agent. When I give names & numbers, it's because I've gotten excellent service, or because I don't want people to have to look the info up when I have it at my fingertips!

The policing of this forum by some individuals has gotten out of hand. I don't think anyone should conduct business on here, and I don't think most people do. But, whoever the vigilante is, please back off and stop accusing people when there is no basis for your comments. Let's have fun on here again!

I agree. The recent accusations seem outrageous. It seems like no one can ask questions now about Hawaii without being suspected of having ulterior motives.

Noah Apr 10th, 2000 07:08 AM

Let me make it clear that I am not a travel agent and I am in no way affiliated with 'Maui Heidi'.

Finally, it looks like some sanity is returning to the Hawaii posts. Lets move ahead and be able to get some answers to our questions, by anyone that has the answers. We're (mostly) adults here, and don't need to be policed.

My, my, my, why so defensive? Irritated that your sales schemes have been uncovered? Why in the world are there SO many posts about Hawaii here, and all in one day too, just from "regular, ordinary folk" who just "want to help other people."

When so-called travelers post questions about hotels or anything else, they are "answered" with JUST such a wide variety of options from people who say they've never been there, but just want to help.
Real travelers who come here are seeking FIRST HAND information and opinions -- read the posts. These laundry lists of places to stay, things to do, etc... are planted by travel agents, not real people offering opinions. Real travelers here ask for other people's experiences, not "anything you know" or "whatever you can pass along." These phony questions are planted in order to open the door for agents to post descriptions and prices of every money-making, kickback-earning venture around.

These endless Hawaii posts are planted by travel agents who have lost their clientele thanks to internet services, and they are trying to skulk over here and lure people. Get lost!

Takeahike,
OK, you've explained in detail the Travel Agent "angle" on all this. Here's my question - What's your angle? You seem to have hours to spend rebutting all us "travel agents" (in your paranoid mind) - and you do this as a public service? If that's your angle, don't do it on my behalf - I like to hear what both tourists and agents have to say.

If you want a travel agent's opinion, then contact one. Or better yet, go visit any other travel forum on the web -- they OWN those sites and will happily give you their opinions (i.e. sales pitches)

This forum was not designed to host travel agents and their business schemes.
