New Orleans_Help with Hotels
..going to New Orleans in Sept. Would like to stay in/near French Quarter for abt $150/nite- need pool and quiet room with balcony or french doors to courtyard. Atmosphere is not as important as tranquility!!!!
thanks. |
The days of the week you will be there, and the exact dates, are very important regarding your budget. New Orleans is a convention town and if there is a convention or other major event in town then your hotel cost will be impacted. If you will only be there for a weekend, that also impacts hotel cost. So if you give us exact dates then we can avoid giving you useless suggestion due to your budget.

Tranquility and the French quarter will really limit your options - esp with a small budget. Are you willing to look in other neighborhoods?

We stayed at Omni Royal Orleans. We had a very small room ut it opened on to a courtyard that could only be accessed by the few rooms that opened on to it. We went in early November and got a great start rate using their own website. Great location.
