That sounds about right on the oysters I typically eat 1 dozen or a dozen & a half a day when i am there...lol

Unfortantely, we can only get oysters when we do vacations like this. I had about 3 1/2 dozen this trip. DH won't eat them, so I get them all to myself. He just doesn't know what he is missing.

Did you tell him they are an aphrodisiac? LOL!

Great review. Thanks for posting. For all of you going to NOLA, if you are there in a month with the letter R (which is the safest time to eat Gulf oysters because the water is cooler), the best oysters are uptown at Casamento's. Ask any local.
