New Orleans to NYC RoadTrip
 
Looking for some advice for road trip with husband - Flying down to NOLA and staying 2-3 nights. Renting car and driving back to NYC. Planning to stop in Lynchburg, a night or 2 in Nashville and stop at Mammoth Caves and maybe a night in Louisville.

The drive to Lynchburg is long so I'm looking for a place to stop in Mississippi or Alabama. Was thinking of DeSoto Falls.

Looking to stop in West Virginia want to do the Highland Scenic Highway - worth it?
