We spent five days in New Orleans. Here are the travel photos, unedited for the moment.

link doesn't work

Thanks for letting me know. For some reason the "show" and "slide show" functions do not work for others. Try this, although you will have to click for each picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mksfca/...7638129439203/

It should work, as I accessed my account like any other non-Flickr user.

Nice pics! We were just there week before last, I have lots of same shots. I am jealous you got to see a parade or was it a second line? We just started watching Treme on HBO on demand. Great series, highly recommend it.

Great photos, Michael, and you captured the essence of the city really well. Where did you see the live music?

At the Spotted Cat.

Michael,

Your pictures vividly bring to mind all that I love about New Orleans (last visit Jan. 2008!). I'll be passing through the city on the way to Texas in December, but your pictures remind me of the great energy of the city and that I'll need to plan a proper visit focusing exclusively on New Orleans at some point in the not-so-distant future, not just as a pit-stop.

Best wishes, Daniel

Wonderful shots, Michael. DH and I had a wonderful bunch of meals there back in the 1980s.
