New Orleans-need hotel pronto!

Desperately seeking hotel room in New Orleans for 10/21-10/25, in the $150 range. Can't find a thing on the web-all booked? Suggestions appreciated. Location unimportant at this point. Thanks!

Mardi, <BR>Check the Ambassador Hotel - don't have the phone # handy - they still had rooms last time I checked. Only 2 blocks from the Qtr.

Try checking out the B&B network/registries. We did this once, heading into Mardi Gras season, and landed most pleasant accmd't'ns for about $60/nite

I was just in New Orleans and stayed at the Sheraton on Canal fro $99 a night. We only booked about a week in advance because it was last minute trip. I called the hotel directly. there about Very nice hotel and in walking distance to Bourbon Stree. Good luck.

I stayed at Hotel St. Marie last January and it was great - wonderful people, good size rooms, clean, new. Right on Toulouse (sp?) St. in the French Quarter - I would definately stay again!

We stayed at a wonderful hotel in the French Quarter last January. It is called Le Richelieu (spelling?) Perhaps they could help recommend another place if they are booked. Good Luck.

Look into Grenoble House in the Quarter. Might be a bit higher, but a nice place and convenient. Dick
