new orleans hotels booked first week of May

Can't seem to find a room for May 4,5, and 6
What is going on this weekend anything special,,, and can you tell me if there is a web site I can track busy times in the city??

It's THE Jazz Fest, not just "A" jazz festival. Rooms will come with a 4 or 5 night minimum usually.

Good luck getting a room during Jazz Fest. The lineup hasn't even been announced yet, and rooms are already booked! Dial and dial again, or try a travel agent. Good luck.

I will change my plans when the town is not as crowded. I do not have to go in May. I will switch to the first two weeks of April or June, whichever is most available

We went last year during Easter Weekend (around mid April). It's a really nice time to go, the weather was hot but not unbearably humid. It might be a lot more humid during June.
