Hi teach - we actually had to push our trip back a few weeks, so we are just getting ready to go. We are staying at the Place d'Armes - decided on it due to the location and a pool in a shady courtyard.

Our rate for a balcony room in May was going to be $123/night. When I called to change our reservations, there weren't any balcony rooms availible, so I reserved a deluxe room (or whatever they call the step down from the balcony room) and the rate is about $80/night - the difference in price is largely due to the fact that we slipped into the low season by changing our dates.
