Shae, Hotel Monteleone is booking for $179 a night for one night Dec 30 at http://www.louisianatravel.com/

Their website is booking one night for $250. This hotel would be an excellent choice. Good luck! :)

Excellent work Bayou Girl! And very much appreciated!

You are very welcome, Shae! Let me know if you get your rooms, okay?! :)

Wow, BayouGal! What a terrific example of what this board can do! Great job. :)

Monteleone has been around forever and ever. It has a great reputation and I'd grab it for sure, ShaeC. The Quarter is expensive but I'd rather stay within it than anywhere else...such as getting a great savings, but at NoTell Motel on Airline Hwy. You will get a feel for what the Vieux Carre is all about--it's like no other place I know. :)

Thanks, OO! I am happy to be of service. Besides, I get so much help here for our trips, it's the least I can do to return the favor.

And what better city to have some fun in, huh?! ;-)
