New Orleans hotel

Anyone have any information on the Royal St. Charles Hotel? They have some really great prices in March. Thanks.

I work just 3 blocks from this hotel. It is an old office bldg that has been remodeled. Lobby is stylish and rooms are "average rooms". We put some clients there so it's definitely nice but maybe not fancy.

Thanks so much for the info! I don't really need fancy, just looking for clean and safe. What is the area like? Can I walk to and from the French Quarter?

The Royal St. Charles is only a block from Canal so it's definitely walkable to the Quarter. The streetcar passes in front of the hotel...another plus! I've never seen the rooms so please let us know what you think after you've stayed there.

Thanks John!
I will post a report after my trip.
Any restaurant suggestions? We have reservations at Mr. B's Bistro and Brennan's. We are also thinking about K-Pauls and Court of Two Sisters.

Also, we would like to take a plantation and swamp tour. What's the best tour company out there?
Thanks!
