New Orleans-Best Air Fare
 

Traveling in and out of New Orleans seems to be difficult since Katrina. Any Suggestions as to best airline and fare.

It would help to know where you're coming from....

Also, have you already tried to price an itinerary using the major travel web sites (Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity).

If your dates are flexible, use the flexible dates feature on Travelocity. I just did it and it's showing fares from New York to New Orleans for $133 RT (LGA-MSY).

Now hotels....that's a different question, since I've heard that it isn't as easy or cheap to land a good hotel deal as it was pre-Katrina, *BUT* the airline deals seem to be there if you look.

Basically all major airlines have restored most, if not all, of their flights to MSY. Just search for an airfare like you're going to any other city in the US.

AA Vacations is showing some great hotel deals for New Orleans . . . the beautiful Omni Royal in the French Quarter from $64 - 95 a night for most of this spring.
