New Orleans & Plantations

Any fellow gardeners/travelers? When is the best time for viewing gardens when visiting New Orleans with a side trip to see one of the planations? Living in CT, I have no concept of the growing/blooming season in Louisiana other than it must begin before ours and last longer.
Thanks

Just hoping for a reply. Are we all out in our own gardens?

Our season is pretty much year-round! Azaleas bloom in February/March and are stunning. Other things bloom well into summer. Much of the trees are evergreen so we don't get quite as "brown" here as many places do.

You would enjoy the Botanical Gardens at City Park. Fantastic!

We took our trip in May and there were flowers blooming everywhere. It was really beautiful.
