Foodie Heading to Manhattan Looking For Delicious Gluten Free Options

Dear Fodors Friends,

I'm heading to New York City in a few weeks and my mouth is already watering for some delicious eats. Since my last visit, however, I've gone gluten free. Any ideas for memorable eats that might fit the bill? Staying in midtown but will travel for a great meal.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!!

I am on a gluten free yahoo groups and someone just posted these gluten free finds in NYC. I haven't tried any of them and have no knowledge of any of the restaurants thus these are not my reviews of the restaurants.

"amazing new Gluten Free bakery called Tu-Lu's at 338 East 11th Street. Their items are so much better than Babycakes Bakery.
Here´s the website:

Also, the BEST GF pizza, you'll be amazed it's GF:
La Pala
198 Allen Street

Also, I just tried Gustorganics. Wonderful. Most items can be ordered GF. They have GF pasta, GF pizza, and GF handmade corn tortillas.
519 6th Ave.

If you're craving Mexican Los Feliz's menu is mostly GF and they can prepare the food properly. 109 Ludlow Street.

ENJOY!

YUM. TuLus looks scrumptious. I thought I once read about a restaurant (not Risotteria) that is entirely GF. Wonder if anyone knows what it's called.
