Thanks so much for all of the encouraging words. We are very much looking forward to our first trip to NM and going to the fair.

I'm sure we won't have any problems finding something to do for the entire day. I think the rodeo starts at 7. I have written down the directions from the replies to my post so it should be easy to get there and back to our hotel.

Glad to hear the term "war zone" is misleading. However, when I read it a couple of places yesterday I became concerned about 2 women in this area after dark. Glad to know it's not as bad as I read.
