I have an old roadmap/altas. Can someone please tell me if I-287 is complete between Parsippany, NJ and I-87 in NY state? I'm trying to find the quickest route (on a Sunday afternoon) between West Point and the Delaware Water Gap.

It certainly is, and parts of it are actually kind of scenic. It connects with the NYS Thruway (I-87) at Mahwah NJ/Suffern NY(Exit 15).<BR><BR>

Just take 287 south off of the Thruway and head west on I80. Nice easy drive.

Your map is quite old. It was completed nearly 10 years ago.

The directions from West Point to I-80 are accurate, but be careful at exit 15 because it splits once you take the exit to NJ...watch for the signs that say Morristown/287.
