Aloohaaaaa....
B'man....Will be spending hard earned vacation time in Italy this year....but after talking NYC with imaq yesterday.
Hmmmmmmm.... :-?

TPat, I blame the person in charge of planning the Y'vile GTG for the cancellation...what a chump...and r5's sick cat.

I'm sure a lot of us at brunch yesterday would have taken a collection to send Faina2 back there for the GTG.:-"

Hi All. I've been waiting to respond -- I'm waiting for my DH's travel schedule to be finalized. He'll be away for a couple of 10 day trips this spring (that means the weekend, ugh). As soon as he firms things up at the office, I'll let you know if we can attend.

kal, don't send Faina2, send wine!!!

seetheworld, we would love DH to come, but don't let that be a show stopper. Carpool with Auntgrapes.

Where's jersey?

Where's the NYCFoodSnob?

Where are all the rest of the NY/NJ people?

Budman, LOL, Kal will send you "whine" not wine!

Trish, last year I threatened all locals to hitchhike to the GTG, this scared everybody off! Ha ha!

Now don't give me any ideas or I'll go to NY!

Hi Christina -

There's actually a poster named "Jersey" that has attended a couple of our GTG's. I haven't seen her on the boards in awhile either.

Hope she's ok!

Faina, don't go to NY - our GTG is actually in NJ!!

Wine over Faina????! What's with you guys? FainaGirl, we here in Tampa Bay would choose YOU over that Hoboken wine they're probably drinking any day! Heck we'd even plan a GTG around your schedule!

Be nice to Faina!!!!!

nina, we'll be over by 5pm -- Paula starts kicking us out around 4:30 to get ready for the evening dinner.

joan, Faina has been known to dish out her fair share, but we all know, the banter's all done in jest. She knows she's more than welcomed, especially if she brings Kal.

BTW Joan - Budman makes his own wine and generously brings it to share with everyone. It's fantastic and it's not from Hoboken.

Joan, are you saying this only because you know Tampa Bay is not on my travel list (nobody is safe here )

Yeah, Kal, let's see who can have better time in Chicago!

tpatricco, I was just joshin'!!!! I've read about Budman's wine, I'm envious. BTW, I'll be on Long Beach Island starting June 12th...my childhood haunt (I used to serve that Country Kettle chowder you mentioned in the Best Chowder thread!).

Faina, you really must put us on (the bottom of) your list! You don't know what you're missing...or do you?

While you gals are reading about Budman's wine, we, west coasters, enjoy it! Do you know he sent us wine for one of our get-togethers?

Do you hate me now?
