New Hope or Lambertville: Looking for a weekend getaway.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a great B&B in New Hope, Lambertville, or the area? Money not too much of an issue.
S and D

A lil ways away from New Hope, but sweet, is Bethlehem, PA. Perhaps schedule your visit in time for thier wonderful Christkindlmarkt

http://www.bethlehempaonline.com/christmasinbeth.html

Local bed and breakfast http://www.sayremansion.com/

or the hotel bethlehem is always nice too.
We prefer New Hope for staying; easy enough to get to Lambertville for shopping and sightseeing. Bucks County (New Hope) is closer to the Brandywine Valley and the wonderful museums and galleries, including that of the Wyeth family.

Hi Sandra,

A great place is the Barley Sheaf Farm,
which is right outside of New Hope -
just a few minutes' drive. The town is
Holicong. Their website is:
www.barleysheaf.com.
It used to be the hangout for the
Algonquin Round Table crowd from NYC --
if you are familiar with the literature
of the 1940s. It is charming, family-owned, with a great outdoor pool (for
summer), great breakfasts, and a terrific honeymoon suite. We stayed there the weekend before our son was born. You can drive to dinner, clubs,
etc. in New Hope easily. It is on a
pastoral site -- nice quiet contrast to
New Hope. Have fun!
