I'm not a hiker to probably won't be able to give the best info. If you get a DeLorme Atlas and Gazetteer for each state you will have the location of all the waterfalls, covered bridges, etc. They are available in a lot of places like some gas stations. Oversize and detailed maps. Haven't been to Arethusa Falls since I tried to keep up with 3 15yo boys and lived to regret it. I went back after reaching falls but they continued for a loop that included a view. The hike to the falls is all in woods. Lake Winnipesaukee is beautiful but it's also a busy lake. Late September might be a good time to visit since there might be less motor boat traffic. For scenic I would rate Squam Lake much higher and recently went on a pontoon boat cruise with a naturalist from Squam Lake Science center to see loons and eagles. GREAT trip and it's pretty close to Lake W but much more tree lined shores instead of mini mansions. Don't get to Sunapee much but the gondola ride to the top would be fun. Recently stopped at the Flume visitor center which was fun but we didn't do the hike. It's commercial with a lot of tourists. Very scenic so I would recommend. You can do at your own pace.

Your list is basically well known spots in NH. You could visit lesser know places. Little Mt Kearsarge offers two hikes. One from Warner side and one from Wilmot side. The Wilmot side includes an auto road with switchbacks (toll road) and Winslow State Park at the top. If you are on limited time you should pick locations closer together so you can visit more of them. This could be an easy detour from drive up I93 to Lake W and White Mountains. If you like running into other hikers, stick with the well known spots. If you like solitary hikes, pick lesser know trails. A friend who is an avid hiker and volunteer said parking areas at popular trail heads in White Mountains were overflowing. Beede Falls would be fairly near Squam Lake and is a very short hike. You probably won't meet any other people. I didn't think the notch road was very scenic but you will see it on a DeLorme map as a seasonal road. https://www.wmur.com/article/take-a-...ndwich/5182994
