New Hampsh. or Maine - Quick Trip
 

I'm searching for a fun (doesn't have to be quaint) B&B or Inn that's 2 hours or less driving time from boston. Looking for good food, views, hiking, and hopefully a jacuzzi (for 2!) in the room. Willing to pay up to $250/night and want to go in the next couple of weeks -- any suggestions?

I would go to the Yankee magazine site (www.newengland.com)and click on their B&B finder for Portsmouth, NH; Ogunquit, ME; or Kennebunkport, ME.

Harraseeket Inn at Freeport, Maine jsut down the street from LL Bean and all the other shops. <BR> <BR>expensive, rated high and good food and local shopping

Nicole - <BR> <BR>less than 2 hours from Boston is the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine (cliffhousemaine.com) you can't go wrong here - overlooks the ocean, crashing surf, not far from Kennebunkport, Freeport, lovely views from the Marginal Way, good shopping, great restaurants - it's one of my favorite spots (husband's too!)

The Riverside Bed & Breakfast in Bath, Maine, is reputedly the "most beautiful B&B in America." It's on a section of the Street where scenes for Message in a Bottle with Kevin Costner was filmed. <BR>Check out website: www.riversidebedandbreakfast.com
