New Basque restaurant in Madison Park

Anyone know the name of the new Basque restaurant in Madison Park? I had it, but can't find it. Better yet--anyone been there? How was it?

Thanks for any info.

I think I found the name...The Harvest Vine...??? But the only review I could find was mixed (good food, somewhat not so good service). Any Fodorites eaten there?

Nancy Leson gave the place *** in her Seattle Times review. I've never eaten there, but it is a very popular destination: http://archives.seattletimes.nwsourc...&date=20030418

thanks, happytrailstoyou. checked it out...it sounds delicious, but not quite what we had in mind for DH's bd (seeing as how they don't take reservations). But it does sound good and would like to try it some time.

The Harvest Vine has been around for years!! Many years!! It is fantastic and perfect for a small group. They actually do take reservations in their downstairs room: http://thescarletmacaw.com/harvest_vine.htm

I got a report from a friend who ate at Harvest Vine last night that the food was great and the atmosphere was lively. And, good news: they have expanded and now take reservations! Maybe it is the perfect place for your family.

I recently had a very delicious meal at Todd English's Fish Club. The gazpacho was especially memorable, and the calamari and octopus combo was a tasty treat as well. (Don't fall for the flatbread and alert your guests to say "no" when the waiter tries to sell them this and that.)

Thank you. I read the review, but it didn't mention that they now take reservations. Guess I don't cross the bridge enough these days, huh? (Wonder why!)

After the review was written, they expanded. After they expanded, they started taking reservations.
