New Austrian Museum in NYC
 

There was an article in the new York Times a few weeks ago regarding this museum that opened up but of course I lost it. Does anyone know the name of it, where it is located etc.?<BR><BR>thanks!

It's the Neue Galerie. Founded by the Lauder brothers (sons of Estee), who are very involved in Austrian/German art world. One of them was Ambassador to Austria awhile ago. They are also very supportive of the effort made to return valuable art stolen by the Nazis to its rightful owner(s).<BR><BR>The gallery is at Fifth Avenue and 86th Street in a townhouse. There's a cafe in the museum that's really good, too. Beautiful room and really good food, especially desserts, of course!
