We had a party of 6 on New Years Eve at Carmelo's. We were greeted by Karen and seated promptly at the time of our reservation, which was 8:30. Carmelo visited with us several times during our meal and was most cordial, but very professional. We knew the menu beforehand and enjoyed all five courses. Thanks to our servers, Lucia and Jessica, our night was very ambient. We enjoyed our NYE experience and would not hesitate to return to Carmelo's next NYE. We've had many meals at Carmelo's and look forward each time to good food and being treated as family.

Forget it, Carmelo--your name is already mud. Signing up to make bogus posts like this is making you look even worse.

BTW, whoever wrote that missive misused the word ambient. You need a better ghostwriter, lol.

I have it on good authority that Lucia and Jessica spit in Mel and Dave's food on New Year's Eve. Maybe they'll register here too to tell us about that.

The obvious key to getting a good experience at Carmelos is to be a first time poster on Fodors.

And how fortunate for us that these lucky diners just happened to stumble upon this website and just happened to stumble upon this thread so they could set the story straight. Coincidence is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
