Need vacation rental advice please!

I am trying to plan a trip to Southern Florida in February for two couples. We are looking at Ft. Meyers, Ft. Lauderdale or somewhere in the Keys and are wondering if a condo or other vacation rental might be the way to go. Does anyone know of any good deals on a fairly decent place? Thanks!

In Key West, vacation rentals of anything less than 28 days is illegal unless there is a transient rental license for that particular unit. Make sure you see it before you put down deposits. An honest realter is At Home In Key West.

Go to vrbo.com. Tons of listings by owners. You cut out the middle man so prices are great. We've used them several times. I never use one without photos and always check with the office on the property and the vrbo website itself to make sure everything is Ok. Never had a problem. Good luck.

Jacqueline - Thanks for the help! That is a great website (vrbo.com). Much appreciated!

rock, I cannot stress how important it is to have this license in Key West. It is illegal to rent for under 28 days and it is strictly enforced. If the owner doesn't have a license, the neighbor could turn you in and you lose your money and have no place to stay.

We used www.TUG2.net & found a wonderful 2BR/2BA condo for New Years last year. If you don't see something you like for Feb, you can place an ad. This wld be a good time for you to advertise for Feb.
