Melissa - If you don't do a buffet for Christmas dinner...how about Bally's Sterling Brunch for Sunday. It is supposed to be THE #1 of all buffets.
And I did a bit of checking online; Round Table might be a no go -- only average from what I am reading.
Wynn's also gets high reviews. As I said in earlier post, The Buffet at Bellagio was really excellent and a nice place to eat. There was actually a small wedding party having their "reception" there the night we ate there.
Hope this helps...

One of the classy buffets might be a good choice. Our experience with Bally's Big Kitchen "Sterling" Sunday brunch was that it was not worth the considerable extra cash, and we like the regular Bally's buffet. We've done both the Bellagio Buffet and Wynns. Bellagio has more exotic food but is very noisy and a bit more expensive. Wynn's buffet is our favorite for all around great food - good, fresh ingredients, well prepared, and easy to get to, get through the different stations (asian, american, Italian, seafood). Some have criticized the dessert selection but I found it more than adequate. You might also check on whether any restaurants have small private rooms. The only buffet that has small separate rooms that we've found is at Paris - it's very good, our favorite for breakfast, but not as good for lunch and dinner as Wynns.

OMG It's still around??? It's been so long that I just assumed it was gone. I should not assume, right? After all, in 2004 I stayed at the Stardust--my first time since about 1971. I looked out my window at the townhouse area and it was like I got stuck in a time warp; nothing had changed!
Maybe I should theme this one an "old school Vegas" trip and see what I come up with!

buffets and twins- not a good mix! There's too much up and down and how wants what on their plate. And no, you can't carry it back to the table. And one scoop is enough.............Don't cry if mommy gets up to feed herself......

Melissa~In fact The House of Lords reminds me of Old Vegas. Yep, it is still inside the Sahara, in fact we have been there twice in the last year because I LOVE the food and the atmosphere is kinda Old Vegas also.

With 3 or possibly 4 adults, I would think that the twins could remain at table with one adult while others got their food. No need to take them on the line to get food. May not be perfect but still beats taking them to upscale restaurant.

Is this actually for Christmas Day? If so, I'm sure leaving the kids with a sitter would never be an option! And, I'm sure the restaurants will be expecting more families than an average Monday.
I would call ahead regarding boosters or food choices for kids. That will give you the best indication of how receptive they'd be.
Plus, if six adults can't handle two 3-yr-olds, I don't know what to say! Perhaps you can give them each a little sticker book as a little gift when you all arrive. That will keep them busy tearing, licking, and placing the decorations in the story!
I liked StormyGirl's recommendations.
Good Luck!

I have reservations at both Mesa Grill, Bobby Flay's restaurant in Caesar's Palace and Bouchon at the Venetian (we need to cancel one) and both restaurants were fine with kids. I have a 6 month old and made sure to ask the hostess if it would be ok. They both told me that it was no problem at all! HTH!!

That is fine and nice you want to take your small toddlers to an upscale restaurant. I am sure they will love it and remember it well. Just as sure that the surrounding diners will love it when they throw a screaming fit and the parents do nothing and ignore them! For the sake of others and yourself get a babysitter!!! I had my 17th anniversay dinner ruined by a 5 year old at 9pm running around the table and screaming at the top of his lungs and EVERYONE ignored him except the other diners in the restaurant!!!

sigh....Mauimaui, if you read my comments, it was someone else whose child threw tantrums and the parents ignored her. My cousin's toddlers are pretty well behaved. Anyway, I threw out the suggestions, my cousin chose Bouchon, we have reservations and they have 2 high chairs for us, no problem. Thank you all for your positive suggestions, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Sorry MelissaHI I have no suggestions, but want to respond to some people who have dealt with meals at upscale restaurants ruined by kids at other tables. WHY don't restaurant managers do more to enforce the quiet enjoyment of their restaurants? Why don't they approach the table of adults at the terror table and say "we are wrapping up your food to go because we don't tolerate disturbances of our other patrons" WHY?
