FYI Hawaii has a direct flight from Newark 9hours going 10hours returning
|
My first inclination was to recommend SE Asia (Thailand) because the weather there is great in November. Unfortunately it takes twice your 10 hour time limit to get there from NYC.
So I will second (or third?) the Hawaii suggestion providing you have never been there. In 10 days you could easily do 2 or 3 islands. My favorite is the big island mentioned in one of the other posts. |

How about the Canadian Rockies, Banff or Jasper. Not too cold yet, might get some light snow, but probably great weather for hiking, and seeing beautiful scenery. Better yet, break up the trip and do 5 days in Banff ( pamper yourself at Fairmont hotel ) and then fly to Vancouver, which is a great city with still nice weather at that time of year. How about an Alaskan cruise ?? I envy you...Bon Voyage ! |
buggy- =-O Maybe I should have said "Barstow"? And goat really isn't that b-a-a-a-a-a-d. |
So we have narrowed it down to 2 places that are completely opposite. Iceland and Dubai. I am moving my questions now to the Middle Eastern and Euro boards! Thanks everyone.
