Need San Jose Hotel
 
Looking for a great hotel in San Jose? and any activity suggestions, including fine dining?

What are you going to be in SJ for? Are you by yourself, with a spouse, kids? That will help with activity suggestions.

If you want to stay downtown and have a healthy budget, the Fairmont is a good choice. The Hotel DeAnza is a nice place - historic, pretty reasonable rates. Hotel St Clair is also historic. The Marriot is brand new (less than 1 year, I think).

Going with my wife - no kids. We are going to stay at the Fairmont. Any great dinner suggestions, etc...?
