Need Restaurant suggestions for Providence, RI

Anyone know of a good place to bring two teenagers in the Providence area? Not too pricey please. Maybe a place with prix fixe menue during the week?

Your best bet would be to go to Chowhound.com and go to the New England message board. There are always Providence posts on there. Good luck!

Are you looking for a "nice" place or a fun place?

There are several places in the Providence Place mall. My kids liked Dave and Buster's for food and arcade. You can look them up at Daveandbusters.com. There's also a Cheesecake Factory & Johnny Rocket's which teens might enjoy.

Those are all chain restaurants originating in different parts of the country. For a real taste of Providence, head up to Federal Hill (Providence's "Little Italy") and check out the menus at all the restaurants on Atwells Avenue. You'll find a broad range, from "pricey" to cheap but good.

Here's an old thread where I posted about an Italian restaurant. It has other recommendations too.
