Need Restaurant Suggestions for Charleston

I am taking my husband to Charleston for his birthday for 3 nights. This is our first trip there and we are so excited. Need a restaurant recommendation for his birthday dinner. Something nice with great food (we love just about all foods) not too stuffy atmosphere. We also need two more restaurant recommendations for our stay. Thanks in advance.

Its me again. I have 3 nights for restaurants and one of the nights is my husband's birthday dinner. Please help me select from the following choices: SNOB, Magnolia's, High Cotton, Hanks. Which one should I choice for the birthday dinner?

Magnolia's for the special dinner. High Cotton if Magnolia's is booked. Do try Hanks and SNOB, they are good, but neither is at all romantic or quiet. Both are noisy, busy places.
Enjoy your trip.

go have a drink at the rooftop of the MarketPlace Pavillion hotel. Great view.

I just reserved Magnolia's for the birthday dinner and High Cotton for another dinner. Need one more reservation. Should I pick Hank's or SNOB?

If you want high end, Peninsula Grill. If you want Charleston seafood go over to Mt. Pleasant and Shem Creek.

Given a choice between SNOB and Hank's I would pick SNOB. I don't think either one will disappoint you.

janiekins, for a birthday dinner, Penninsula Grill.

I would say between Hank's and SNOB it is a tossup.

High Cotton is a good selection. If you're driving, Al Di La, a half mile or so over the bridge on the Savannah Highway is outstanding Italian. On weekends reservations are a must.
