Much better. Good luck. The new Getty Museum is fantastic. Be sure you don't get the new one confused with the old one in Malibu.

I think you have two good options... one would be to stay in Beverly Hills. The Holiday Inn Select on Beverly is a clean place. It is a bit dated and stale, but you might be satisfied with basic loding.

The other area would be Santa Monica. The Loews hotel on the beach is great, would be just 15 minutes from the areas you need, but can be spendy.

You may also want to look for something in Century city.

Not sure what your budget is, but you might want to consider the W Hotel in Westwood. Formerly the Westwood Marquis Hotel and Gardens, W Los Angeles has undergone a $20 million renovation. Close to UCLA and the Getty.

There is a Holiday Inn in Bel Air very close to the Getty, but it is not a suite hotel. Excellent location with Getty shuttle and UCLA shuttle.

Residence Inn has a suite hotel in Beverly Hills and there is a Summerfield Suites in West Hollywood. Manhattan Beach also has a residence Inn, this is about a 20 minute drive to Getty.

A few friends have stayed at the W Hotel in Westwood and loved it. Nice suites, great location and a "hip" hotel for teenage travelers.
