Need quick help. Where to stay at Portland, OR airport?
 

DH is up there with friend. They want to stay tonight near the airport. Any suggestions for a nice, clean but cheap hotel? There are so many up there...Shilo? Phoenix? Country Inn? Holiday Inn? HELP!

The Sheraton is the hotel closest to the airport buildings.
All of the hotels along that strip seem to be nice and most or all of them have shuttle services to and from the airport.

I stayed at the airport Hampton Inn and throught it was reasonable, clean and had a shuttle to the airport.

I booked them a Comfort Suites for AAA rate of $99. Does that sound like a good deal? Not really familiar with the Choice hotels and their differences. But it is a suite, so a little bigger than most rooms, with all the amenities like micro, little frig, cont. breakfast, shuttle to airport so think they will be OK. And two queens as opposed to doubles. Hope they are happy...

There is an Embassy Suites very close to the airport.
