Hi monalua,
My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary at the falls. We stayed at the Marriott on the Canadian Side. (The Canadian side has much more to offer). It was awesome. The falls view rooms have beautiful views of the horseshoe falls, american falls and bridal veil falls. Marriott restaurant was also good. The restaurant has a view of the falls as I recall. So you can skip the chain restaurants. They have honeymoon/anniversary packages available. The price is worth it. Around 259.00 USD a night. Don't stay at the Days Inn. That was good advice. You get what you pay for in Niagra Falls. I have made many trips to the falls but staying overnight in a falls view room has been the best. You have your own private viewing of the falls all night long. Very romantic! Buffalo Airport is obviously your best choice and Jet Blue to NYC as well. Maid of the Mist ride is really great and so is the Cave of the winds tour on the American side. I think you may want a car even if you dn't drive it much. It would be more convienent getting back and forth to the airport. I also know it won't be long before you need a passport to go in to Canada from the US.

Annikany -- please reread my post. I recommended this particular Days Inn (I also found the address -- 5068 Centre St.)

The OP didn't write what her budget was (if any) so this is a good choice if she doesn't want to spend $259 US.
